As the leader of the environmental protection club, I monthly present eco-knowledge at community/school; I conducted recycle clothes (waste-to-treasure) broadcasting; We did Wuxi reservoir tests and won Outstanding Club award.
Water quality test of
Ziwie Lake
Driven by interest, I used Xima AR8407 to measure dissolved oxygen, pH & ammonia nitrogen in 7 samples at 4 points. After that, I summarized data into a 10-pages report, showing that the lake water quality is around Class II
Wuxi reservoir tests
With professional assistance, I led my team to conduct a reservoir test near our school. Using equipment, we gained a preliminary understanding of dissolved oxygen, pH value, and ammonia nitrogen levels for aquatic plants and animals.
By comparing the cross-year data, we conducted data analysis.
Presenting Eco-knowledge at Community/school
I regularly visit the community and give environmental protection knowledge lectures to people of different ages there. This includes supplementary knowledge about water resources, waste recycling and garbage sorting. In this process, I realized my own strength: I can share the knowledge with many more people.
Second-hand Item Auction Sale
Using the leftover fabric and the offshoots for further processing, I organized a charity sale to turn waste into useful items or artworks. While imparting environmental protection knowledge, I also contribute my own strength to the cause of public welfare.
